All of our soaps are made using the Cold Process Method. Cold process soap is a traditional method of soapmaking that combines oils or fats with lye (sodium hydroxide), triggering a natural chemical reaction called saponification.

This process creates a hard, long-lasting bar of soap rich in natural glycerin, which helps retain moisture in the skin. Cold process soaps often feature rich scents, natural colors, and unique textures you won't find in store-bought bars.

Being hand-crafted rather than mass produced, that means no two are ever exactly alike. Colors might shift, swirl patterns might do their own thing, and the bar you get may not look exactly like the one in the photo. It's all part of the handmade magic.
While our Buddy "Scents" are wildly exaggerated and totally satirical, our soaps are without any shortcuts or gimmicks.

The glycerin stays in the bar rather than being pulled out and sold off, which is why the lather feels different from a drugstore bar. Then it until what's left is dense and hard enough to last.
